Conversation View
When someone replies to an email, Wayne Gmail groups responses together in conversations. All emails relating to a particular conversation are combined into one thread or string. All messages that have been read in the conversation are collapsed in the email message and the newest one is expanded so you can see it. You can click any of the messages to expand them and see the entire conversation without having to search through your inbox looking for a response or reply to a message. A conversation breaks off into a new conversation if the subject line changes or the conversation gets to more than 100 emails.
However, you may decide that you would like each email to show up in your inbox separately. Follow these directions to make this change in your account. If you find you would like to change back to Conversation view, you can turn it back on and all of the conversations will combine automatically.
Open Wayne Gmail.
Click the Settings Gear in the top right of the page.
Click "Settings".
Scroll down to the "Conversation View" section.
Select "Conversation view on" (messages will be grouped into conversations) or "Conversation view off" (messages won't be grouped into conversations. They will all appear individually in your inbox.)
At the bottom of the page, click "Save Changes".
